Album Review: Look Mexico – This Is Animal Music (2007)

Look Mexico – This Is Animal Music
Release Year: 2007
Genre: Mathrock

Look Mexico is a mathrock band from Tallahassee, Florida. I first discovered this band over 10 years ago and still listen to this album to this day. A little bit of folk rock and a acoustic-y sounds, this album is a fun listen to. My favorite song is probably “Me and My Dad Built Her.” It’s more of a ballad song with mathrock elements. The transition to the chorus is something that stuck out to me.

Sometimes I listen to this while doing evening walks and it just feels relaxing. Especially when that cold breeze hits my face as I’m listening.
