Album Review: The Cabs – 一番はじめの出来事 (Ichiban hajime no dekigoto / The First Action) (2011)

The Cabs – 一番はじめの出来事 (Ichiban hajime no dekigoto / The First Action)
Release Year: 2011
Genre: Mathrock

This album is explosive and melodic. The screaming, the melodic vocals, the rocketing drums, the twangy guitars and the thunderous bass all work together very well in each song. With that said, I recommend this album be played LOUD in order to really appreciate all the different music elements of each track.

This is one of those bands where I think they would sound absolutely amazing live. It has that indie garage type sound which would be perfect for a live set.
